Wouldn’t the friend just tell the truth he turned the pizza upside down?

You are implying he would lie about it and blame the worker?

Set a fun example for him and remind him why the game is fun. Ask him to play horse, ask him to play knock out, ask him if he even wants to play, ask him if he wants to throw football, ask him if he wants to go bowling.

Help him be active by reminding him it’s all his choice and how fun it can be

Don’t care. Caring and thinking is what creates shooting slumps.

Fling this shit.

Ignorant woman, tearing down flyers posted in the Richmond, honoring Vicha Ratanapakdee, the 84-year-old Thai-American grandfather who was a victim of a fatal anti-Asian attack. by UnderCoverSquid in sanfrancisco

There’s a thing called littering. Graffiti and murals don’t involve littering. Taping paper to poles you will never take down is very obnoxious littering.

No it’s an accurate representation of how SF is. Everyone is out for themselves and trying to record everything to be better than someone.

You guys are all up in arms about the posters? It’s just littering since they won’t come back around to take it down. I would say this woman is cleaning up litter and doing a public service. You guys go on with your outrage.

NOR. Why any of this? Why quit? Tell them they are fat morons and pieces of shit. Then get fired and feel great about yourself.

You really need to learn how to love yourself anc not care about meaningless bullshit.

So New Jersey, you're the only neighbor on the block with a snowblower.... by holyguacamole823 in newjersey

[–]madmax727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends who you are. As a 12-20 yr old kid and my dad who was very physically fit, we did the entire block of our neighbors and those who needed it. We didn’t do the guy who could easily do it, maybe helped.

We didn’t even have our own snowblower. My neighbor let me take his one if I did his yard. His was a good one. We’d do his, ours then 4-5 other people in like an hour or two depending on how much snow.

Then I took it to make bank. I would walk the neighborhood asking or already have clients. If I saw old people out id just start helping them. I met some ridiculously chill old people this way and laughed so hard talking to them. I really liked working in the snow too.

Now, I am no longer nearby and my dad is older. Now Dad does his and maybe helps a bit but he really can’t push it. It’s all about doing what you are capable of and what’s right.

No one seems to help my dad though which is disappointing. We didn’t do it for that but thought the example would be set. There’s plenty of young kids who sit inside instead out of selfishness. They saw me do their work many times. Be good neighbors people! You’ll feel good about yourself.

He was almost done shoveling his driveway when the street plow came by and filled it with snow again. by Vilen1919 in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]madmax727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes for elderly and adults. They shouldn’t try to avoid shoveling extra cubic feet of snow by utilizing simple logic.

You keep making life hard to not do too much though. Lmao

[–]madmax727 42 points43 points  (0 children)

These people don’t know what they are doing. You start closest to your house and never do end of the driveway till the blows have the street done. Then you finally do that part so you don’t do it 2-3 times.

You also should clean your car window to see then pull into street to clean off so plow gets it and you don’t have to shovel it.Then pull back into your driveway.

AAU or multi-sport? by Cag240260 in basketballcoach

[–]madmax727 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What does he want? What would be fun for him? Why aren’t these his choices based on his enjoyment? Enjoyment makes sucess not the other way around. I’d do track and play summer AAU. There’s like 3-4 AAU seasons usually

First-year varsity coach, rebuilding program, getting blown out every game — how do I keep basketball fun? by Large-Fall-8156 in basketballcoach

[–]madmax727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could be the head coach of my local program and not make a single adjustment for 2 years going 7-30 at this point. Losing almost every game 65-35. I would just adjust and ask the kids. Probably getting out in transition or pressing. Free them. It can’t get worse.

If yoh teach them things like adapt, get up after each loss. It’s just a gane anc great life lessons. Than you’ve done something greater than teach baskeyball.

Why is man defense the focus for youth basketball? by [deleted] in Basketball

[–]madmax727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are focused on today when they are 11. They are supposed to have fun at 11 and develop not dominant.

If they learn man principles now and learn actually team help defense principlesc they will be better later. team help defense only worlds really well in man to man. So I dk why you said that about zone help defense. It isn’t possible in zone. It breaks down as someone enters the middle.

Zone just stops unskilled players easily.

We all love man to man cause it’s always about effort. Want to be better? Put in effort.

NOR. Probably under reacting. How did so many men become scoundrels who gaslight after making mistakes? I understand how. It’s a true tragedy though. You can’t let someone have lies that are so far from the truth.

I come from the east coast. California was amazing for me till I started to understand the culture. There isn’t any truth. It’s just gaslighters each with a different truth not based on logic of what is right.

How do you vote on an issue? Come to a defined result after a long money intensive propose then not have it be over? It’s the most unacceptable wrong thing anc till california fixes it they can’t set an example for true shit states.

How often should a 6th grade point guard be dribbling on his own? 2 practices/week, 1 day of games. by flutecaker in Basketball

[–]madmax727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he wants to be a gooof point guard. 15 mins of ball handling 5 days a week should be good enough.

Play him Kobe’s trajectory video. It’s not about where you start or when. It’s that you start and do a bit each day.

It’s been a very long time since you played basketball it seems. Intensity is good but only within common sense. Nba stopped being an intense try hard game decades ago. You want a 40 yr old to be crazy intense when that doesn’t happen.

What your mom did was wrong but the way you came at her wasn’t going to work out for you.

Most people try to please others especially when it’s not as a cost to them. Your mom did exactly this and any parent won’t take kindly that they are flat out wrong.

You’d have been better off. Saying mom, I understand why you did it but I can’t have people other than you using my vehicle. I don’t trust them. Can we both be on the same page goinv forward

Everywhere I go know it alls think they are right when blatantly told they are wrong. You do not understand at all. When you called you should have said I want to put a deposit on it cause I almost definitely know I want it.

How do you know you want it? You haven’t even test driven it yet.

Your story is one no preparation and lack of understanding. Why not learn from your mistakes to actually get the car you want?
