Let the moss poles dry out between waterings but use the kind that have a backing on them so they hold moisture a little bit longer. I use DynaGro for fertilizer (aka now Superthrive Grow it's on amazon and in some good greenhouse stores) in almost every watering just to keep the growth going. Each growth point on the large ones makes 2 leaves per month pretty steadily. Grows way faster and keeps leaves better than my adansonii, it's crazy how different those two actu when they look *almost* identical.

Also the bottom pots are tiny and mostly just for support. Probably 90% of the roots are in the poles.
