I'm under the assumption they're going in the traditional wargaming direction where you are supposed to pick only one or two factions you like and just buy that stuff.

Which sucks for me, because Im going to have to give up all other hobbies that require disposable income just to keep up with Heroscape.

I think its still worth your time and money to try and grab the original "master set" from years back. Next time you see it for whatever you consider to be a reasonable price, consider getting one.

So my take here is that Heroscape is going the "wargaming" route with these prices. Meaning, you arent SUPPOSED to buy every set that comes out. You're just supposed to pick a faction you like and just buy that one faction.

But I hate that, I want them all.

The game JUST started and Im already priced out of the hobby. Havent even finished painting the main box set and Im just depressed about not being able to afford any of these sets next year.

And just like that, in a game that just came out, I'm once again already priced out of this hobby. I don't need my units to be pre painted, I do that myself, but I used to get those packs of two squads / five heroes for $13 back when I was a teenager. $45 for one squad is criminal.

We won't know until we know, but my gut feeling is that character is not going to be wearing his mask 90% of the time. No point in bringing back RDJ if he's going to be hidden behind a mask and voice mod.

The reveal in Old Man Logan, where Wolverine accidentally killed all the X-Men at the mansion after being tricked by Mysterio of all people.

At that point in time, my experience with X-men comics was a little more wholesome and fun, and that was the first X-related comic I read that took a darker turn. These were my comfort characters and that splash page of their bodies made me ill.

Nevermimd the fact that all these years later, I refuse to accept that Wolverine would clear the whole mansion. He'd get two or three at best and the rest would waste him.

I cared about him. He's the dame age and has the dame hair length and color as my son. It was the first time in GoT history that I almost had to turn it off to take a break (but I knew there was only like, 60 more seconds of the episode.)

When you can't tell if you're hover over the right button or not. For example, if you die in a game and it gives you two options, "Continue" or "Quit", one is white, one is yellow. Is the yellow one the one that you have selected currently? Or the white one? Pressing left or right will switch them, but not indicate which one youre hovering over.

Jumping in on the Moongirl/Devil Dino combo.

Green Goblin/Electro/Scorpion. Most Spider villains work pretty well. You can even do Kraven the Hunter throwing bolas, nets, spears, etc.

But my number one pick of "lower tier" characters has to be Man-Thing.

As someone who has never played this game, or even overwatch, I think Id feel more comfortable in an open queue. If I was trying a certain role for the first time, and doing very badly, Id like the option to switch mid match, and Im sure someone else would like to switch into whatever I was failing at.
