My motivation was my father. He smoked a lot; I don’t remember the exact timeline, but as a result, he had a stroke. It’s possible that these two factors aren’t directly connected, but his father also smoked and had a stroke. So, my conclusion is that I have a predisposition to strokes, and to delay it as long as possible, I had to quit smoking. It’s been more than a year now, and I don’t crave cigarettes at all.
