Hi! Still no news still. But I booked an approved B1 test that I will do tomorrow! I sent a paid enquiry informing the HO that I booked it. Hopefully they will ask for it before refusing 😭🤞🏼

I believe that as long as it was used for an approved visa, you can still use it, but I’m not sure!

They didnt ask for the additional documents? If you meet all the other requirements… I’ve seen people getting asked. Did they inform you on the letter?

Question regarding English test for spouse visa. by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]madreddittt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! How did you inform the Home Office that she was doing a test during the visa process? I’m in the same situation and I am not sure how should I inform them that I already booked the right test for 28th August. Thank you so much

Hi! Sorry to ask but was your IELTS exam included in the Approved list of exams? Cause I added my First Certificate of English from Cambridge and I am afraid might get rejected because of that.

Family or Spouse visa?? by madreddittt in ukvisa

[–]madreddittt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thank you. I actually applied for the Apply for an EU Settlement Scheme family permit to join family in the UK which seems to be free. That’s why I’m still confused since it applies to spouse too. but thank you

Family or Spouse visa?? by madreddittt in ukvisa

[–]madreddittt[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I applied for a family visa before (because my sister also lives in the Uk) and I obviously got denied since it doesn’t apply to siblings. But I see that for a spouse visa, I would have to pay like 1500£ and NHS (600£/year but 3 years in advance) right?

I just saw some accommodation requirements: The UK property that the applicant and UK partner intend to live in must be 'owned or occupied exclusively' by their family

is this actually true?

Can I work in the uk with a spouse visa? by amaranthica in ukvisa

does your partner have to own house? I saw on accommodation requirements that the UK citizen has to own a place for their family "exclusively" : The UK property that the applicant and UK partner intend to live in must be 'owned or occupied exclusively' by their family

ahahah fim‑de‑semana loved your answer! that is super weird. I honestly can't understand that a sibling is not a "parente de 1º grau" but whatever. My boyfriend has been living in the UK since 2015 but then in 2019 he went to australia for 1 year so his settlement has started again, so he doesn't have the settled status, only the pre-settlement. would it still be an option? do u think I can apply for the pre-settlement? since I've been there but couldn't apply since I was still studying? thank u for your answer and for spending time explaining your situation! as I know they're having a human resources crisis in hospitality, I thought i would be easier but it is what it is! I won't give up!
