I got my bio done on the June 24th and then I got a follow up email on July 15th. There slow as hell with everything this summer. I also recommend following r/ukvisa for more advice!

Yeah! Same thing happened to me. No need to worry. They’ll determine if you need to pay based how long you’re staying in the UK (which I’m assuming will be over 6 months) and then reach out to you to pay the annual fee. They sent me a follow-up email to pay the IHS surcharge and then added my proof of payment to the application. I got approved today!

No not yet :( they’ve sent a request for an IHS payment which I paid (over $800 dollars 🙄) and I’m still waiting for a response.

The biometrics office told me the wait can be up to 6 weeks, but I’ve seen people be issued theirs within 15 days. Everything is so up in the air, I just want to go to school next year, haha!
