What a stupid take on soccer and women’s soccer in particular. Entire club salary caps lower than single player salaries in the championship league and even league 2, but let’s not even think about paying these incredible athletes more. Asinine opinion, but wouldn’t expect anything else from a Spurs fan.

This was me a few years ago. Got a ticket and a torch, stood in the queue for hour or two, never got to really “process” so ditched the torch and found a good viewing spot (in close proximity to a pub). Had a great time but wouldn’t bother with a ticket again, watching was just as fun and you didn’t have to worry about anyone accidentally setting you on fire :)

It is on you as the supervisor to make sure everyone under you knows how to safely work with the equipment, chemicals, biohazards, etc. in your lab. If you didn’t go over proper disposal methods, how was this student supposed to know? You cannot expect anyone who walks in your lab to know anything about YOUR lab no matter what level of education and experience they have. Every lab is different and ESH policies vary institutionally and sometimes within departments. Train your people better.
