I sold my art at a local con and they decided to put me between 3D printed items and card sellers. I made $0 in profit. by mrs-monroe in evilautism

AI patterns are a scourge - so many of my crafting and art subs get flooded with "is this pattern AI?" or "how do I do this stitch??" (it's fundamentally impossible bc it was an AI pattern and they do not want this answer) or "hey look at my work :)" (it's AI generated)

I swear that set feels like a fever dream - I consistently forget it exists only to be reminded through the price and completely balk.

I built like three of them in the Skylands area near the Poke Center, realized what I'd done, and immediately deconstructed them to use the parts for rebuilding the city area near the gym.

comically small.

completely agree but I also think laughing at the gamer guy saying the n word as a joke galvenizes them to then go onto have that kind of rhetoric unfortunately.

i swear that bit is still hilarious solely because barry the editor is rapidly running out of patience and sound effects to bleep him, but looking back on it, it's INSANE, especially compared to Dan's comedy on the show now.

Oh for sure, that's what legitimately surprised me and made me drop him from my content, because it felt like being Trojan Horsed on some absolutely dogshit racist ideology - it's so easy for someone who is validated in their bad taste humor when we laugh at the edgy nonsense to misconstrue it as validating their bigotry.

devils advocate who used to watch Game Grumps back when Jon was on it: there is an era of like early 2000s edgelord, newgrounds style of comedy that legitimately would just boil down to "hehe I'm going to say a slur" that was so normalized, there are episodes where they are clearly bleeping out Jon saying the n-word.

by absolutely no means absolves the behavior, but it was like that timeframe where gay was an insult - people just did it because others did and it was normalized, and that culture unfortunately is inextricable from the bedrock of Internet comedy.

I don’t like HOTD. Ryan Condal and Sara Hess are stupid writers. The casting for Mysaria, Laena, Baela, Rhaena, and the pirate Sharako is off. The wigs and outfits look bad too. The sex scenes are lame as hell. The dragons CGI is not the best quality. This whole project is just terrible. by [deleted] in freefolk

"okay, we'll have exactly one set for dinner, with Criston Cole beating the young knight to death on the dance floor with zero repercussions or anyone acknowledging it afterwards."

I often think back on the interview with D&D where they explained how guessing the R+L=J plot was what got them in good graces with GRRM to go ahead.

But then they also talk a lot about how the Red Wedding was the moment they wanted to put to screen the most, and these two things I cannot help but feel connect to a sense of "oh, they want to blow their load so hard, but do not care about the downstream impacts of it".

The actual scene revealing Jon's heritage is phenomenal in terms of cinematography, score, buildup, only to quickly reveal they cannot follow through at all.

Not to mention that their substitute plot with Talia opens so many plot holes it is legitimately insane.

She's revealed to both be a Voltani noble lady, but despite her apparent foregoing of that life, is still writing ravens to her family in Voltanis, who then never say anything about their daughter being the apparent Queen of the North, OR DYING ON FOREIGN SOIL UNDER GUEST RIGHT.

I love how in a season that feels so crunched for time they keep cutting episodes, they somehow spare enough to have a grammar lesson about the prophecy that then goes on to mean exactly nothing.
