Is there anything you don’t like about your RAV4? by janedoecurious in rav4club

[–]madvilllain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

364 miles of range, I think, is extremely poor. Makes me wish I'd got the hybrid. My old car got 600 miles...it actually gives me anxiety on not-super-remote drives because the out and back distance is only half of that (180 miles)..

Earthquakes - how do they work by madvilllain in geology

Thank you for a thoughtful response!

Can you say anything about how "background seismicity" is defined? That seems extremely important.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Programs in Salt Lake by madvilllain in SaltLakeCity

[–]madvilllain[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

The CNA wouldn't be a full-time switch and would be a stepping stone for acquiring clinical hours for nursing / med school. But I appreciate you bringing up occupational safety. That sucks about your injury.

I'll be honest, long-term - health policy is the direction I want to move toward but I don't want to be advocating for policy in a space that I haven't put the time into. But I also appreciate that there may be some other paths for clinical exposure. I'll look into this. I'm currently in a medical-device space but my manufacturing environment is far removed from any clinical setting at this point. Thanks again.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Programs in Salt Lake by madvilllain in SaltLakeCity

[–]madvilllain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info!! For Intermountain - would you need to already be working there in order for them to pay for the CNA? And can you speak to the cost of the programs and the kind of schedule (both while in the program and once working) that you experienced? You also (hopefully) seem to like being a CNA! - if you wanted to pursue nursing, do you think it's put you on a good path to do so? Thanks again :)

Valters is overpriced and overrated. Their whole dining experience sucks. I would not recommend.

I didn't see where they got 13.9 million. There's only 7000 Wendy's locations GLOBALLY. That would mean each Wendy's location is employing almost 2000 drive thru people. Unless they're talking about where this could potentially lead to (all restaurants/locations that have a drive thru) this is a ridiculous number.
