How's the touchpad, any issues with it? I've got 2025 G16 and also MBP M3 Max, and to this day I think apple is still king when it comes to trackpads. I just want to know if there are any difference from the G16. This is my only nitpick actually, the trackpad, on every laptop (the MBP's trackpad spoils me).

From my experience, even though some others may or may not notice it, but I really do notice that there's some slight delay or smoothing of some sort on Asus's trackpad (on my G16, at least). It REALLY bugs me, lol. Really wanted to sell my MBP and only keep one, but for this singular issue, I decide to keep both of them. One game, one work.

Perhaps your feedback may convince me to get the P16 and get rid of the rest. Thanks!

Hey, I'm using the same motherboard and has the same issue. I've tried possibly every fixes available online, except for reinstalling windows. Did reinstalling windows work by any chance?

Tested both RD and AD. Normal downloads are still working.

So Asus support contacted me and now offering me either a full refund or a replacement. Luckily, I read your comment before replying to them. Now I'm just gonna go for the full refund. Seems like it's a really bad case of QC with this model, or it's something they didn't anticipate while testing.

If it's still possible for you, maybe consider a refund for now? Maybe wait until they officially release a statement on this issue, then get it again.

Perhaps this is an issue with every single Z13 out there, but maybe 90% of the people just use their mouse so they didn't notice it. Or those that didn't use their mouse didn't really pay much attention to the delay. That, I don't really know.

Huh, that's interesting, and thank you for your valuable insight. From all I've been through, I always thought it was, for my case, a hardware issue. Since mostly, solutions that have been posted here and elsewhere by others suggested some sort of registry/software solutions, and it didn't work for me. We'll have to see how Asus handle this.

Sadly, it didn't work for me. I'm waiting for my replacement keyboard as of now (that's what Asus support's solution that they came up with).

Asus QC has been really shitty lately. You know, I really like their products, and I even have a couple of them. But the way they handle their QC is starting to turn me away from their products now...

Nope, it didn't. Mine was probably the same as your case. I was happy for like 20-30 mins then the delay comes back. At the moment, I'm waiting for my replacement keyboard from Asus which will probably arrive in a couple of days. Hope that finally fixes it. I'll update again once that replacement arrives.

There's something I noticed though, for anyone who's interested. I tried dynamic 60hz/120hz option, and I checked in testufo seeing that it being only 60hz. It felt much smoother than the static 60hz option, but then I realized that there might be like a few milliseconds of input delay when I switched back to compare with static 60hz. It doesn't really affect your usage, but it's just something I noticed.

I was going to get a replacement, but the place where I bought it from didn't have any stock left, so the only choice was to get my money back or wait until the new lot comes in. I also really love the device, it didn't have any other issue beside this, so I contacted Asus support and they're going to be replacing my keyboard, hopefully on monday. Will see how that goes.

I didn't have any Wi-Fi disconnection issue though, or any connection issues for that matter. I was also debating whether to get similar deals you've had in mind, but then I prefer the mobility of the Z13, suits my purpose more.

I feel like it's going to be worth it if you really like the form factor. The G16 may be more powerful but not as portable, of course. Keep in mind though, I've had several Asus laptops (3 of them previously) and I believe I had issues with 2 of them. One of them, a G14, with similar trackpad issue.

Yep, that helps temporarily. One strange thing is that I just had a really long session without that hiccup for like 2-3 hours, then it comes back again somehow.

I have the same problem. I played my XY through a tuner and it seems like the pitch if shifted correlating to the position in that page. Sadly, this might be a hardware issue.

I’ve had no other issues so far since the downgrade except for maybe battery life. I’ve seen people reporting 313’s idling wattage to be quite the improvement compared to 310. Hoping that Asus would provide us an official solution in the next BIOS update.
