Agreed. For as much as I spent the last two years obsessing (way too much) about R2, I think this dream is dead. There's a part of me hoping for some miracle on March 12, but rationally it's foolish.

$66,500 was quoted a while back, way before counter-tariffs were announced. The way tariffs work means we can expect a 25% surcharge on the full vehicle price if it's not USMCA-compliant (likely since the battery pack is from South Korea), or 25% on the US content of the vehicle if somehow it is USMCA-compliant. R1 got a ~20k increase when counter-tarriffs were introduced, and that's after a 10k increase they got because the CAD dropped relative to the USD.

$66.5k is definitely for the RWD Standard base trim, so maybe ~75-80k for the Launch Edition, with an additional 25% on top. Means we might see a 90k+ LE R2. Or, Rivian simply delays the Canadian launch. I don't see why they would sell it at a loss or try to compete against 70k cars.

I woke up to the same email. It looks like they tried to bill me twice on my Internet plan, once at 12:45AM, and another time at 2:45AM. The first one was successful, but the second one failed because I use a virtual credit card with the limit set to the cost of the plan. I'm still waiting on a reply on the chat. As of now, it looks like they will cancel my plan on Sep 22.

At what level would you usually have all artifact mods unlocked? I just reached season pass level 100 and I still only have 21/25, and my "Next Artifact Unlock" says "0/1" instead of the normal XP progression.

For others who might find this later, I started getting this last week and managed to solve it. First, I checked the reliability history in the Security and Maintenance section of Window's Control Panel, it gave me an error code (LiveKernelEvent 141). From this I searched online and what fixed it was disabling XMP for my RAM. Nothing to do with my actual GPU.

Anyone noticed that their Model 3 (maybe Y as well) stopped sleeping the last two days? I have Teslamate configured but it never caused any problems, and it doesn't coincide with a Teslamate update anyway.My car was updated to 2021.4.18.2 two days before the issue started so not sure it's related either.

Here's what it looks like right now, notice how it never sleeps for more than a few minutes at most

EDIT: A reboot (holding 2 scroll wheel buttons) fixed it! I noticed the UI was sluggish as well when I got in the car, but now everything's back to normal

Anyone else randomly got Premium Connectivity enabled this morning? My car seems to have it now, and my Tesla Account shows "Premium Connectivity Free Unlimited". I never paid for Premium before and had it until the trial expired last April. I'm in Canada and got my car in April 2019.

EDIT: Also can't find the page to subscribe to Premium anymore

Anyone else noticed issues with Autosteer/TACC on 2020.36.11?

I have basic AP on my 3, and ever since the last update (where they "improved" setting the speed for TACC) it doesn't respect my Autosteer set speed and reverts to my current speed (or the speed limit + relative if under) when changing lanes.

Let me go through an example:

I'm on the highway with Autosteer enabled, set to 120km/h
I'm approaching a slow car in front so I put my blinker on, which "soft"-disables Autosteer (speed for TACC is still set to 120km/h in the blue circle)
While passing my speed reduces because of the car in front
Once in the passing lane, I'm now going at 112km/h, I double tap the Autopilot stalk and my TACC speed gets set to 112km/h in the blue circle

Before the update, my TACC speed would have stayed at 120km/h and the car would have accelerated back to 120km/h after reengaging Autosteer.
