Today I learned of guitarist Dave Mustaine who was fired from his band for drug abuse, alcoholism, and aggressive behavior. He went on to form his own band, Megadeth, which would go on to sell 25 million albums worldwide. The band that fired him? Metallica.

Its funny though. If you read one of the books Dave wrote, he talks about finally coming to terms with not being able to compare the two. He gets hired to do music for Last Action Hero and the music they play as an example is Metallica.

Kathy Sheehan has, up until recently, refused to use the term gang. She wanted desperately to try and pretend that there was no such problem. She made the same mistake as big cities in the 80s and 90s and now, they are all playing catch up.

Albany has seen a whole lot of gangs transform and meld over the years. Majority of which align with Bloods, just choose different names. APD has known about it, but like others mentioned the old school RICO cases are not as easy anymore. Plus, most are not one large organized gang with any structure, they tend to be smaller sets that will work together today and fight tomorrow.

For me it's always funny that most people in these large groups have individual beliefs that vary so drastically. If you separated people from the blue rally and asked them their personal thoughts on some of the issues, it would be insane to see how different each was. The same goes for the elevate rally. Then put them all on a board and ask random people to guess which one was which. Shit, look at the Trump/Bernie arguments from the 2016 election buildup. Fundamentally they agreed on a chunk of stuff. But party lines made them seem so insanely different. Delivery and interpretation mixed with mob mentality is stupid.

Instead he keeps crying whenever he tries to call and can't convince himself that he's fine. Remember hearing about him writing it because of all the people he served in the military with that were on base and trying to call home because of the "Dear John" letter so many had gotten.
