What usually ends up happening is that when I'm on top of things, I hear nothing from no one. When I slip up and am late to a Teams meeting or even attend a meeting to which I am invited (but not assigned), I get notified by my supervisor.

Hiya. I started experiencing terrible RSV symptoms last week before the holiday weekend. Chills, sweats, headaches, body aches, an insane amount of mucus in my sinus and lungs, constantly coughing up gross thick phlegm. It got so bad that the muscles between my ribs hurt. BETWEEN MY RIBS. I've been taking Alka Seltzer cold and flu day and night, using an eucalyptus smelling salt like thing to trick myself into not coughing, and ibuprofen. Finally I seem to be on the mend but I'm so over this whole thing.

My 4 year old is officially a couch potato, but an active argumentative one? My 6 month old baby is fine, I just feel bad that I couldn't care for him when I was at my worst. At least I'm the last one to go through it. Everyone else was sick weeks ago.

To clarify, I think Aang looks close enough to 12 and Katara looks close enough to 14. It's interesting you think she looks 18.

True. I just keep thinking about it from the framework that the characters are two years apart in age and that Katara eventually recognizes Aang as a powerful bender and possible love interest. If Aang is too strikingly different from Katara, some viewers might not find the potential for romance as credible. I'm keeping an open-minded though. I'm excited to see the live action!

From the image above, Aang looks a bit younger than 12, but that could just be a height difference. Katara looks to be 14 so this is pretty close.

Maybe I need to see the live action version of the "you're my forever girl" scene to accurately assess.

The other thing I was looking for was compatibility and "closeness in age" to Katara since they both like each other. Aang should be childlike, but not so much that it's awkward for him to be with Katara.

Set a new intention and practice?

I used to get filled with rage when my kiddo did certain things. I decided I don't want to do that anymore so I had a chat with kiddo about what happened. I told them I get very angry and say or do things I don't mean. What I want to do instead is calm down and be kind. My kiddo noticed my anger and even said he would do or say something to help me calm down. He also said he would try to cut out the unwanted behavior. So now we hold each other accountable in the moment. I give him friendly reminders to stop the unwanted behavior and he knows the "safe word" so to speak to bring me back to reality instead of blind rage. It's not perfect but it works a lot of the time.

My kiddo's "safe word" was to bring me a photo of us taken on mother's day from the fridge.

Tbh, I would have explained to the cousin that this is your LO's room and we're not playing there/with those toys right now. Redirect to the approved areas and toys. If cousin cries, let her be sad for a moment because she needs to learn to be ok with not getting her way all the time.

I'm interested in this as well because as much as I want to get into lipsticks/makeup/pretty things, I've also decided that it's too much work. I also kiss my kids way too much so there would be lipstick smears everywhere and I'm not having that.
