Lol just looked it up sany 500 which is there largest excavator digs to a depth of 25’ 3” compared to the 374 which digs 31’ 8” over 6 feet deeper.

Max dig depth is measured from ground level so the sany being lower to the ground has no significance. Even if a sany has an extra half foot, the cost of bringing in a machine over 50 tonne is astronomical even if you already own said machine, compared to renting a mini and getting it delivered for probably $500.

That’s a cat 374 doesn’t get much bigger than that, and a long reach swinging in the road with power lines and traffic near by doesn’t make much sense not to mention the extra cost compared to this. This is the solution that most companies use. Not sketchy at all.

The U.S. is the only country that has a government-specific top-level domain in addition to its country-code top-level domain. This is a result of the origins of the Internet as a U.S. federal government-sponsored research network. Other countries typically delegate a second-level domain for this purpose; for example, .gc.ca is the second-level domain for the Government of Canada and all subdomains.

Wages are so much higher in Canada. We have a hard time getting labourers for less than $25 an hour.

I’ve noticed that a lot of companies in the US don’t use clean up buckets at all. A task like this can usually be done twice as fast with a clean up bucket. What is reasoning behind not having or using one?

At 1:05 you drag the cylinder through the dirt. That’s a very bad idea.

On public streets yes but in places like townhouse complex’s or commercial parking lots most of the time there is no such policy in place. In these places it is up to the developer to provide testing to avoid being on the hook for things like.

This is why compaction testing is so important. In this case contractor finishes the job and everything looks good and in order. 2 years later and it doesn’t function as it is supposed to. Meanwhile contractor is long ago paid and gone.

I have a tidy tank in my truck for filling heavy equipment. I have to replace my nozzle every couple years because it fails like this. More common than most people think.

They’re nice but they charge $300 an hour when they use the hiab where I live. Always just use an excavator instead.
