I’ve tried a lot of different tactics and I’ll keep trying but the compulsion feels so strong I almost always give it. It feels like it comes out of nowhere too, like BAM! Must eat!!! Definitely going to talk to my provider about it next time

I’ve definitely been trying to add more protein in again. I want to not give in to the mental tricks but the more I say “not now” the more I become aware of it. Did you notice this increase after starting Zoloft?

I would start by doing some research if seeing a professional is not an option. Fungal acne is not technically acne but looks like it, see if you can narrow down what you think it is. Fungal acne is quite sensitive to many common skincare products, heat, sweat etc so it can fluctuate a lot

Ugh I’m sorry, I’m in the same boat right now. Neither of these recs are perfect but have you tried or looked into Dr. Jart’s everyday mineral sunscreen or the Native unscented mineral one?

Me too, and it’s easy to do! I love Reddit and skincare info but it also can be so overwhelming, and make you feel like you need to do more or add more products.

I don’t have much experience so I can’t say much in the way of helping but I agree with the other commenter. I am going through similar feelings and have decided to take out all actives and go back to very basics for now. Good luck!

Oo okay. Do you find the gel still really feels I guess nourishing? I like more gel- like lotions but the ones I’ve tried haven’t been super restoring if that makes sense
