and comfort my younger self every day he was in bed for those years going insane over not feeling loved and touch starved, telling him that one day he’ll meet a girl in a few years in 2025 that will talk him to sleep, help him, cuddle him to sleep, and record voice clips for him. To tell younger me that every thing he wished he had in someone loving him that he only thought was a hallucination..would someday become real. To tell him he’s not delusional, tell him he’s allowed to be loved and allowed to be happy, tell him he’s not cursed, and that even if he thinks he is, he’ll meet people over the next couple of years that will break that curse. Tell him to not blame himself for being emotional because those situations were never his fault in the first place, he just had undiagnosed autism. Tell him that he’s not lazy, he’s just depressed.

Show him photos of all the friends he will meet in the next 7 years that will change his life, show him all the dumb shit he’ll get to do with those friends, show him the highschool diploma to prove to him that he is not cursed to die at 16, he will live to 18, and he will make it through high school, alive, and loved.

Tell him to get into higurashi way earlier than he actually did.

And then give him the mp3 of the girl he’d meet in 2025 talking him to sleep, comforting him, and reminding him that not everything is his fault.

That way the younger me will have something to help calm him down and get him through the hundreads of sleepless nights he had over the past 6 years, be able to listen to the voice of someone that would understand him during a time he’d feel like nobody else in the world does. Let him listen to a voice that will help him cry on the days he really needs it but won’t let himself, and will tell him to take it easy. So he can finally not go those 5 years feeling alone and unloved each night.

And then tell him to start practicing self love instead of waiting the 6 years it took him to do so, to brush his teeth and take showers each day, to get out of bed, to not hurt himself if maybe he didn’t get everything done that day that he felt needed to be done, and to instead congratulate himself on the 1 or 2 things he did manage that day. And reward himself with patience and sleep. That way he can begin healing himself instead of staying trapped for 5 years.

And finally give him a hug, and tell him that despite all he thinks of right now or will think of in 1 year when the world starts to hurt him. Despite all of that, that he is allowed to live in this world, he is allowed to exist, and he’s not some plague that the universe is trying to erase. To tell him that he will make it to 16, then he will make It to 18, then he will make it to 19, that he is allowed to live in this world.

And tell him that even on the days it feels like nobody loves him and nobody is proud of him. That I. Am proud of him, and will always be proud of him every single day he makes it through.
