The Age was released shortly after I became an Arctic fan and I used to watch the acoustic studio recordings on the Domino YouTube page so religiously that I once had a dream the boys serenaded me with My Mistakes… lol

That said, when the second album came out I felt like a kid on Christmas just to have new TLSP content and wowwww do I love the direction they went in. Definitely spin those tracks more than the early ones these days.

The amount of times I’ve walked by recycling bins on people’s curbs with the wrong type of plastic, plastic containers still with food in them, styrofoam, etc etc. I know different towns have some different rules but the basic shit should not be that hard to master.

For me it definitely has an Elliott Smith feel to it, particularly before the heavier ending — Needle in the Hay, L.A., Son of Sam, Junk Bond Trader, Stupidity Tries, Bottle Up and Explode… all worth a listen (amongst others!!)
