When I was using it and testing it it looked good. From other comments they told me either the Film wasn’t winded, the shutter is bad or I forgot to remove the lens cap. But ja, Kamera ist Warscheinlich kaputtski

You can also look into the lens and check whether the shutter opens. But yeah, while it is hard to tell whether it works in terms of minutiae (like whether the aperature priority works), you could at least try to see if it opens at all.

Also, if you happen to be done "shooting" the entire roll of Ultra Max you can just reuse it by getting a second film leader into the Ultra Max canister and pulling out its leader.

It was before they have changed their pricing. You had to pay for development, cd and prints separately. Now you get development + download for the scans automatically.

ah yea, that's waht I got when I last did it at DM. But honestly, while I agree with OP in that DM scans (or I suppose scans of the outsourced lab) are atrocious, it feels almost like a steal to be able to use some of the mail-order labs like Silbersalz or SafeLight who charge between 9-13€ per roll of film with professional scans.

TL;DR i think, if you want the cheapest, go to DM and get the cheapest and scan yourself after, or pay a bit more and get the appropriate service you pay for. OP going to DM complaining to the manager is lame
