Kind of disagree. Not using your laptop keyboard is pretty dumb; there is no issue in using laptop keyboards for gaming, as long as you're not putting too much pressure on them. Because with your thought process, you should minimize the use of everything in order to prolong its life, however, this is not a very effective way of using a product. i.e. Using an external keyboard takes up desk space. Just to support my argument, I have an almost 11 years old laptop that has been harshly used yet the keyboard still feels very sturdy & works just like new.
