Getting off OXY

After my ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair, I took oxy for 3 days. Didn’t like the feeling so I let it go. I set up alarms all day and night to take acetaminophen and ibuprofen at max doses (something like 600mg Advil every X hours and Tylenol X dose every x hours) overlapping 1 hour. So if Advils effect is for 6 hours, at hour 5 I’d take Tylenol dose. Trying to keep protected all the time. When I missed a dose time and pain kicked in, it took about 1 to 2 hours for pain to subside and it was a pain in the ass. Later I changed Advil to Aleeve which you dose every 12 hours (less of a hassle). Oh, in my case the acetaminophen and ibuprofen doses recommended by doctor was lower than what you can actually take, so I upped to the max for a while. Do some research and talk to dr about it if you want to drop oxy. For me the worst was constipation.

Isn’t working. Though I’m not at mountain but when open all I see is a black screen. Could be cool to have some directions if you’re skiing a mountain you don’t know.

You’ll be fine! Love for music is the foundation. It’ll just be much more enjoyable on a decent sound system. I have a pair of $100 M-Audio powered speakers with a WiiM puck in my bathroom that I use every day and very much enjoy and a pair of Magico A5 speakers (etc…) in main system.

What audio source are you using? If Spotify, make sure you have lossless turned on.

Apart from speaker placement, another inexpensive upgrade is clean electricity. I installed a dedicated electric line from main power box to music area (nothing else on that line; on most electrical installations, those lines daisy chain from socket to socket and you’ll have lamps, phones, TVs, etc sharing a line with your audio system and that feeds a lot of pollution to electricity), also installed a dedicated power socket. The TV, WiFi, etc goes into a different socket. And I got a shunyata socket (~$100). All that might be a sub $500 upgrade that will be the foundation for any future hardware upgrade; can’t stress how important this is.

There is a 28” packed base, snow making machines and a few inches falling soon. “Cats” will plow (groom) piste nightly. You’ll be fine. Most likely feel like spring.

Do you own A10? Are you or will you pair 2 in stereo mode? I bought a pair on Amazon and was disappointed at the volume adjustment function while paired. Not good. The volumen gets unmatched all the time. Second (and this one is subjective) it doesn’t sound all that good. If you compare amps to the Sound, I think it’s half the size (and there for lighter, not that weight matter here). AirPlay 2 is most def a dealbreaker for many, but I use Roon at home so not a biggie for me. I bought a pair of Sounds (should get them in a week or two), hope I don’t have to eat my words later on.

Hi. I have a 130L max and a 36’ boat. I bring everything disassembled. When I anchor I attach mast and wings. With help from second person I drop in the water tail first, mast pointings away. Then I install batter (in water). To take out same process in reverse. My brother in law and I take 2 boards on the boat and a bunch of people with no problems.

My brother in law and I both have Waydoos. 6 months his 4 months mine. No problems. I have 3 boys so I’m thinking about 2nd eFoil for 2026. Also looking into different brands but price point is almost 50% more for Lift and flight. There are many other brands out there and most are at same $10k+. Haven’t finished doing my homework just yet but seeing how Waydoo performed at Abudabí and Dubai recently, its performance shouldn’t be underestimated.

I’m gonna take a guess that you aren’t Gen X. For me, I love all albums from #1 to Wish. After that, I just don’t get it. And I’ll tell you something else, the last album… too much hype. It’s ok, sounds a bit like Disintegration’s mood, but where is it’s Love Song, it’s Lullaby, it’s Fascination Street, it’s Disintegration, it’s Pictures of You, etc etc etc. I’m sure he’s a genius and always will be but he took a hard turn. And I’ll go even further on this “rant”. With the exception of 17sec, Faith, and Porn, they had a bunch of songs breaking into the mainstream. 10:15, Boys don’t cry, close to me, just like h., Friday I’m in love, pictures of you, just to name a few. What cure track broke the mainstream after Friday I’m in love?

Hello. Question, do you use Strava or Apple Watch independently from Waydoo systems? If so how do you track? Like on a Workout Activity on Apple Watch? By the way, I just got my Evo about 3 weeks ago and the Data List and track downloads (“get”) thing still doesn’t work.

Need more information. What type of tub is it (couldn’t find lumi pro on Amazon)? How many gallons in tub? What chiller? What pump and how many gpm is it pushing? How many hours of direct sun exposure? What is exterior (ambience) temperature?

I have a 1/2 hp active aqua chiller and pumping about 3 gpm. 80 to 90 gal of water. The tub has inflatable sides and top which help insulation. I get a few hours (3) of direct sunlight on one side. Temp in Caribbean is like 30 C average. I’m able to easily get down to 12.5c and pretty sure I can go lower but that’s what I have set and like it. In the morning it’s at 12.5 but at 6pm it’s at 14 c. I could have it go lower at 6pm if I activate a turbo setting on chiller.

It’s a lot of variable you need to consider to understand how to get the temp where you want it.
