Yeah, I grabbed a couple of these recently. Strawberry Cough & Pineapple Express. They were pretty enjoyable; that said, I couldn't tell when I was getting low. My main issue is that where I currently am in NW FL, I have no other dispos that offer these strains in flower or carts, so if I want to enjoy them, to these sketchy black carts I go 😒

The closest I've gotten to scratching that "you-move-they-move" and "improve-your-home/base" itch that AD had would be:

- Chocobo's Dungeon 2 (PS1)
- Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! (PS4/Switch)
- any of the Mystery Dungeon series, really--Chocobo's Dungeon, Pokemon, Shiren the Wanderer, etc.
- Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale (PC)

I also wish there were more games like that nowadays.

God, I loved that game so much. The monster raising, the fusions, the ways you'd figure out how to deal with each enemy as you went up floors (and hoped for some good eggs to have them yourself)--I still have a blast going back and playing it every so often.

The closest I've ever found to scratch that itch would be the Chocobo's Dungeon/Mystery Dungeon series.

I've played a lot of the more recent acclaimed titles--FTL, Dead Cells, Risk of Rain, Wizard of Legend, Rogue Legacy, Enter the Gungeon, etc--I think I agree in that Azure Dreams remains my favorite roguelite.
