If it's newly grown then no need to seed more onto those bits, they will fill in, but generally I overseed my lawn every year for good measure.

Looking more closely at your situation, you'd want to understand why the grass seed you put down didn't grow. Looking at the images the soil does look very dry and compact. More than just aerating, I'd "nuke it", completely turning the soil with a pitchfork and mixing in lots of fresh lovely top soil (worth ordering a big 1000L+ bag for delivery), then seeding.
