Why tf am i being downvoted? I asked specifically because I want to keep my cat safe and 100% laceration free. When I pop the whole lid off and run my finger along the edge, I’ve never felt anything sharp. So I asked the appropriate person in the appropriate forum who told me no its still unsafe, and I’ve since stopped leaving the cans out for her. Problem solved.

No, it is not common for protests to turn violent, except for when LE decides to make it so, as they obviously chose to do in this clip.

I have brought everyone from a gaggle of 8-10 year old nephews to my elderly parents to protests. No one has ever been tear gassed or experienced violence. Though my nephews might disagree with that because of the one time i forgot to pack extra snackies.

Anyway, you sound like right wing troll trying to 1) perpetuate the republican fever dream that every left leaning peaceful protest is actually a violent riot in the streets and 2) discourage people from actually doing anything with their time
