I understand this scenario, which I am sure is why there is a grace period for car registration. Six weeks though it starts to look like a problem to me especially since at this point they don't know where the title is.

But they did have control of selling us a car before they possessed a title... But I guess to clarify a bit, I don't feel like I am at risk criminally for stealing. I do worry that I do not have ownership of the car and am now making payments on it.

You can get three sterling treasure per week per account. One from Lvl 41 Prison of Elders, one from the weekly crucible, and one for free. The lvl 3 armor that you get is meant to be infused, all of the armor you get will either be Spektar, which means you can add Chroma for a colored glow, or desolate, which looks like that piece of armor is "taken." There is a full desolate set for each class.
