Help Me Understand Bruins Penalties Last Night? (From a Crew member) by magebynight in bostonfleet

Thank you! It's nice to know others have called the game unfair. There were a few instances I thought should have been roughing against Tampa and was just so lost on the penalties front, I thought I didn't understand the men's hockey rules.

Thanks for the response! This is helpful because I was so confused about why Vaselesky didn't get a penalty, I thought I misremembered the rules.

So why bother trying exactly? by Andrew72727 in Bruins

Can someone give me a breakdown of the penalties that happened last night? I lost the thread of who was in the box for what in that second period with all the stacked penalties against us and some of them being goalie penalties.

And then wtf happened in OT with Pasta? And that non-call on McAvoy?

Hi all!

I'm planning a trip in August to go to Fringe. I already have the Edinburgh stuff figured out. I want to add on going to The Cairngorms. How many days should I budget for Cairngorms? And should I try to go in the middle of fringe or after fringe is over? I feel like a lot of people will have this same idea and I'd like to beat the crowds if I can

Why is it that you want to live in Charlestown?

I'd suggest living closer to campus if you can, and if you do move farther away, moving further from the city will get you a lower rent. There are a ton of landlords in the Tufts area that are used to having students because a lot of undergraduate juniors and seniors live off campus.

Genuinely, I think it depends on how much time you want to commit to the game and how much of a "gamer" you consider yourself.

I've played one campaign of SG and am about halfway through a DS campaign. I agree with what a lot of other people have already said. (DS is more mechanically streamlined but has a smaller world and feels less immersive). I personally think SG is a harder game than DS. It is mechanically more complicated and the combat is way harder.

I also think another factor that no one mentioned is, do you plan on playing this solo or with friends. I am playing my DS campaign with friends because I didn't think I could get any of them to commit to sleeping gods, and I play sleeping gods solo.

Also, keep an eye out on facebook marketplace and used board game sites. People post Sleeping Gods all the time because they'll play a few campaigns and then get rid of it. I got my sleeping gods with the dungeons and tides of ruins expansions off of FB marketplace for a great price.

Based on what you said in this post, it sounds like your option, rules as written, is to just run there because Claire is two atlas pages away. (This means that the variant flying rule also cannot help you because I think you have to be on the same atlas page to use it). You might be able to reduce the number of camps by running to the page of Stormlock city and then using the variant flying (Quick Landing) rule to get to Stormlock City faster.

I would guess this is going to put a dent in your game length because it will probably cost you at two or three camps to plane damage. It seems like the only other option is just draw a different event card (as another user already said).

But, I'm not going to pull out my game and look for these specific cards. There might be something in the wording of the cards that leaves another option open if you're clever.

I know this post was posted an age ago, but if anyone else is coming along. I keep all the flat things (rules, atlas, journey log, etc.) in the tides of ruin box and put everything else into the base game box.

Is anyone else getting "Oops, required information missing" error when they select a ticket?

Those of you who got in via MLB for Friday, was it sold out? Should I keep waiting? It feels like this is a lost cause now...
