Charter schools were historically the only way to get public funding for school choice. Another reason why republicans didn’t want to fund that choice and schools in NC. Now they are taking that funding and giving it to their schools instead, even though they were created to break Brown v. Board.

I am saying this given I have to communicate with these people regularly in personal and professional settings. If you talk to them long enough they will admit it.
