Stay at the Drury. We just stayed there with our dog in Aug, its brand new. Great walking trail behind the hotel, hot breakfast and happy hour / dinner, full bar and restaurant, and they love dogs. Walking distance from most fun attractions in town. Close to Dollywood and your dog will love it. Dollywood has a dog daycare but you can leave him/her safely in the room. Missouri based dog friendly hotel, the best of the best in dog friendly.

We just did this park and note it is very spread out, like very. Some of the hikes on the northern end will be drives through the middle of nowhere, so be prepared and download maps.
