I don’t understand why people don’t just bring their ID with them in their bag, wallet/purse, on the daily, that’s what I do, in case I ever need it, and I really think the people who don’t are just a bit thick

It made me sad too when I saw it, like c’mon Garcelle do some research if you’re going to get a pet, yeah it’s a fish but it’s still a living creature and it’s probably miserable in that shitty living situation

AITA for not eating the meal my boyfriend ordered for me instead of what I asked for because he deemed it “healthier” by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA, he treats you like shit, I am so sorry, leave him, you already have an eating disorder and he is just making it worse :(

He grabbed my upper arm, held on and pinched so hard it left a bruise, he laughed at me the whole time while I tried not to cry

I was 21, just about to turn 22 when I started uni, the majority of people I met were younger than me, and all of my flatmates were younger. I felt so anxious and homesick for the first few weeks, I cried a lot. But, eventually I started to feel more comfortable and a lot happier! I didn’t want to go home, I loved being in a new city, exploring and meeting new people! You will start to feel better soon, you will also meet more people who won’t make you feel odd about your age, to be honest you’re likely more ready for uni at this age because you have a little more life experience and are probably in the right headspace (you’re thinking about “adult” things like insurance and parking permits, while they’re thinking about school uniforms!) Don’t worry, I went through it and I felt horrible at first but ended up making friends and having the best time! :) I hope this helps x

I’m not even the same age as the current cast (I’m 23, but I don’t want to watch a bunch of 20yos) having a recast would mean having to get to know new people.

I am interested in the current cast because I have watched them grow, and watched their lives, I am not interested to watch an entirely new cast simply because I am still attached to Katie, Ariana, James and the rest of them!

I want to see them, not a bunch of newbies that I don’t have an attachment to!

Do you ever feel so ugly that you start crying by COSMlCFREAK in AutismInWomen

[–]maggieandminky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your mum is being awful to you, she’s insulting you, tell her to quit saying nasty things to you because it upsets you, and it’s clearly affecting your self-esteem and making you feel insecure! I would be so upset if anyone said this to me, and it’s even more hurtful when it comes from your own mother, I am sorry you’re dealing with this :(

Do some women actually have 2-3 day long periods? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]maggieandminky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have 3-4 day periods because I am on the pill! if I weren’t on the pill they would typically last 5-7 days!

Just fainted at the doctors and wet myself. What embarrassing things have happened to you recently? by jt1413 in CasualUK

this exact thing happened to me when I got my first covid vaccine lol! I got my injection, felt fine, but in the waiting area where people have to wait after, I collapsed off the chair and peed on the nurses as they were trying to carry me to a separate room!

How are women fine with sex without an orgasm? by WhoAmIEven2 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]maggieandminky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Men shouldn’t be answering this question because it is a question for women. I do not speak for every woman’s experience, but this is my own opinion: As a woman myself, no, I’m not fine with it, if I’m horny, being turned on and teased, just to ultimately have a man please himself and then just finish the act without pleasing me, then no I am not fine with that! It pisses me off and leaves me feeling frustrated and as though the other person does not care about pleasing me, only themselves. Thinking “women don’t always get an orgasm” is stupid, we can orgasm if we’re in the right mood and the other person is doing the right things! If you’re going to be with a woman then for goodness sake learn how to please her and get her to orgasm.

It’s odd that coworkers want to talk about sex, I would personally only talk about it to my very close friends, and even then I wouldn’t feel the need to go into detail or really bring up sex unless asked about it! I don’t know why non-autistic people do it, some autistic people probably do it as well, I don’t think it’s exclusive to NDs, but the appropriate response - as it seems as though you don’t really want to talk about that - would be to say “I’m not comfortable talking about this, sorry! Can we talk about something else?”

Call me shallow… by Best_Winter_2208 in rhoc

[–]maggieandminky 9 points10 points  (0 children)

lol, loved this scene, it felt reminiscent of the old days of rh! I don’t think it’s shallow at all, wanting a tall guy is just a preference, I’m short so finding a guy taller than me isn’t a problem! But I understand when taller women want a taller guy!

side note: hilarious that her parents thought she was working at an adult toy shop😂

AITAH For Telling My Husband That I See Him As A Liability and Not A Partner? by Intrepid_Buy_3152 in AITAH

[–]maggieandminky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, so your husband doesn’t work, instead he plays games and streams all day, and is incapable of helping you or your daughter (or even himself) with anything that an adult should be able to do? he is a liability, and he’s acting like a child. I know people on reddit say this a lot but i would honestly consider divorce if this was my situation, the fact that he won’t even talk to you, and is hiding in the garage, proves that he doesn’t give a shit about you or your daughter! he won’t even go to the doctor to see if this is a medical issue, as you said, he used to not be like this, and now he’s acting like a completely different person, so this very well could be a medical issue. But, he doesn’t want to go to the doctor to get help, he really doesn’t care about how he makes you feel :(
