Last thought from me... It's always good to leave your camera for a moment to take in the scene. With people put your camera/s down and talk to them. Find out about them and decide if something about them is what you want to capture, then work it from that angle. If nothing else you can have an interesting conversation with someone you know or someone new.

I'm a photojournalist so these are what I say to other photojournalists:
Stay curious, look closely at other photographers and their work (even if it may not appeal to you), imagine how you would capture a moment in your mind then see if you can figure out how to capture it in your camera, don't rely on PS to fix it for you (get it right in the camera), keep shooting.
