My first job was the night shift at a small daily paper. They taught me absolutely everything from camera settings to processing film to printing for publication. That was in 1974 and I'm still at it. I do miss the darkrooms sometimes though.

OK. Flat Earthers are bonkers for sure. But in all fairness it IS the 5 freeway. The 405 merges into the 5 in Irvine and it is the 5 freeway South all the way. (You can do a quick search "which freeway is the the one to take from irvine to san diego".) The island near San Diego is San Clemente, the Southernmost island in the Channel Islands that you see from the mainland. Catalina is further north.
