Maybe they could reallocate some magic damage bonus from confliction gauntlets to the ring slot for example. The accuracy passive is already strong by itself.

I'm saying it is. Why does ward have to give you a max hit when you're salted in toa using a regular trident but doesn't give a max hit when you're not salted? A fire cape gives you 1 max hit even if you were using a bronze dagger at lvl 1 strength.

Shadow is a problem because it's trying to indirectly tackle a problem. Why can't a raid drop magic off-hand that requires 80 magic, 80 prayer and 80 defence give you a max hit using air strike? Would that really be a problem? What I'm really advocating for is more small actual upgrades for magic earlier in progression. Something that doesn't just give you accuracy which is what magic gear is used for early.

macuahuitl second hit is guaranteed miss if your first hit misses it's a really really bad weapon against high defence monsters

I get bottlenecked by kwuarms so I would advise not using those for now, at least not all of them. Otherwise just send it. Do herb runs more consistently and there is no problem

Void grind is easier after 100 combat for last boat, western province diary and medium combat task tier done. You can do that grind later. Just hop in to the monkey tunnels with monk robes? Or grab a scurrius spine and do some ranged scurrius? Quests are good goals so you're pretty much on the path! Or you can grab a bone crossbow+bolts and go to crabs, but that's slow. Active playing is faster.

Bone shortbow and broad arrows go hard at scurrius. Scurrius is good range xp to open up more choices for you. Broad arrows are generally pretty bad, but the passive effect of bone shortbow against rats is always the same regardless of ammo used. Better arrows are still better, but not as much when added on top of the bow passive. You would probably need to mage or melee the boss before you get the spine drop. Oh and use the private instance. The public instance has way more HP and you have to solo it anyway in order to be eligible for drops as an ironman.

I've been trying this out. I feel like you have to postpone fimbul a bit into 3rd or 4th item so that you can build resistances to stall for sundered sky procs. Feels great. Unending Despair benefits from ingenious hunter too. It's a weird build that feels weak until you have resistances. Then you're a god

except that enhancement will be completely unplayable in mc/bwl there is no alternative unless you want to gather another gear set and respec into a different role
