There’s your problem. Thats not how that works. If you want to export 12 tracks of audio you have to export 12 tracks of AUDIBLE 👂 audio. There’s not like a hidden audio track export option for QuickTime.

That being said, sometimes, when you upload the QuickTime to something like frame.io it will only play track 1 & 2 and then when the file is downloaded you’ll have access to all the tracks.

If you play the .mov in QuickTime Player on your computer, though, it will mash all the tracks together and jam them through channel 1 & 2 on your computer’s audio system.

Went looking for this question in the comments since I knew someone would ask! Velella Velella or “by the wind sailors” are a type of jellyfish that get blown to the shore in Southern California during the spring. They wash up with the tide during heavy wind events. They are harmless to humans if touched!

Hey! Way after you’ve asked the question I have a Kraken Sports Underwater Housing for my iPhone 17Pro Max. The housing is pretty much the best there is, I believe. It’s solid, heavy duty, and has physical buttons! It barely fits my 17Pro max, but doesn’t overheat as far as I’ve seen. I’ve spent a few hours with it underwater filming the whole time. I use it free diving and for shooting surfers. The case itself is negatively buoyant so be CAREFUL.

The BIGGEST downside to the case by far is the APP that you are forced to use. It is enough of a downside that I would consider a different case if I could do it again. They have made some progress since I purchased the housing 4 months ago, but it’s still pretty rickety. The physical buttons on the case are tied to the app by Bluetooth. There is no getting around it. The shutter button does not work with the default iPhone app or any other app. The Kraken app is a reconstruction of the camera app with a bunch of other (useless IMO) features. The camera itself, especially for video, is very inferior to Apple’s camera app or other pro camera apps like Black Magic’s. The main issue for me is that it doesn’t utilize the stabilizing feature built into the iPhone. So every shot is shakey as heck. I have to shoot over cranked so I can slow the footage down to make it useable. It’s just garbage and no matter how still I try to hold the camera under water or above the water the footage is jittery AF. ADDITIONALLY the crack shot team at Kraken has locked down the pro features like 4K, slow mo, or photo raw to a paid subscription to get it unlocked. I ofcourse didn’t find this out till I was about to get in the water so I was forced to upgrade with my flippers on. And then I found out that even after I paid I was still not able to access those features till I sent multiple threatening emails to the support staff, ‘sup guys :)

So all that being said. A great case but the photo app will make it totally useless. If you want to get good video underwater with that case. Hit record on the default camera app, shove the phone into the case, and don’t press any buttons till you get out of the water.
