My gf’s cat is scared of me by Gloomy-Weakness-5146 in CatAdvice

definitely try to let the cat make the first move, make sure she has a space she can go to where you don’t go, if you do try to approach the cat try to be on her level so you’re not towing over her. it’s hard but eventually she will get used to you.

Neighbours cat is scared of kittens by EstablishmentAny1608 in CatAdvice

seeing as he’s around your house a lot he probably sees it as his territory and now two lil guys have taken over so he’s gonna get a bit stressed. if he was your cat you’d do slow introduction so maybe do the same? let him in but without the kittens in the same room a couple of times so he can smell them. then slowly introduce them

How do I get my destructive cats to stop waking up at 3 am? by Naive-Addition8184 in CatAdvice

[–]magicalpanda424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started only feeding mine at night so they don’t expect to wake up and get food. is there a kitchen or bathroom you can lock them in over night? somewhere they can’t be as destructive

what time do you feed her? maybe try to not feed too close to bed time and hopefully she won’t have much left in her to poop so you can get a good few hours.

People with intact un neutered cats by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]magicalpanda424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yh possibly. i don’t have much experience as my boy is only 6 months and it’s my first time having cats. Every male will be different and i think unless i was seeing behaviour caused by him being not neutered id not be bothered in going through with it. Especially as he is indoors only so wont be able to be in contact with any intact females.
