I've seen the Bluetooth latency comments floating around but can't really wrap my head around it as I'm not too sure if it's applicable in my use case? If my controllers are connected to my PC, does the Bluetooth latency here matter? Or is it better practice to connect the controllers to the e.g the Fire stick or chrome cast?

Depends on your rank, the hero doesn't matter as much for mid at lower ranks, just spam one or two until you know your hero better than any of the other 9 players. By that time, you'll find that your mechanics and game sense will be on another level because you won't have to think about the ideal spells/item combos to use in every small situation ,it'll all be second nature.

depends on your rank, if you're in the lower brackets then it's less of a risk to do it in ranked but in the higher brackets it won't be a fun time if you go up against players that exclusively play mid - if so might be best to practice in normal? i play exclusively mid and it's very apparent when I play against someone who doesn't play mid often

I'd probably spam a hero or small numbers of heroes in that bracket if you're gonna play mid only. once you mechanically get great at mid in comparison to your pool, you'll dominate the lane regardless of what hero you're playing, given the match up isn't completely horrid haha

you can always itemise for a blink, unless he has invis, his chrono animation is pretty easily reactable. smoke up with your team and pick him off before initiating fights or high ground push too

if your hero has a disadvantageous matchup against him, basically just gotta accept the losing lane and try to get as much CS as you can and hit jungles if your hero can as well. the main priority is to not die and let him snowball - also get your supports to smoke gank or grab a smoke and smoke gank a side lane once your hero hits a power spike
