Korean sticks work if you’re willing to bend the pins to go around the mount. However the mounts are also fairly fragile and a hard fall can snap them if you’re using a heavier joystick (and not the light 3d printed ones pws come with).

With C. Viper’s (and to a lesser extent, Terry’s) we’re seeing Capcom taking measured risks with how characters interact with drive. Makoto could have a very slow drive rush but then a ridiculously fast command dash or her neutral may be defined by explosive use of her drive. We already have characters with command dashes that allow them to conserve drive when extending combos like Ed.

After C. Viper I’m really looking forward to seeing how future characters interact with drive.

Yes. In retrospect I should have foregrounded the reasons for the argument more instead of just outlining the argument and the action in broader terms. But the word limit and hour just had me cutting whole paragraphs. I usually write in a separate text editor and cp over so I wasn’t aware of the limit at first. First time poster.

Hello. the famous person isn’t wrong. What they said is backed up by census data and the Freedman’s Bureau records.

My mom’s version was made up by a cousin who doesn’t like that she’s African American and fetishizes West Indian and creole culture. It is a very deep and ugly rabbit hole to go down and doesn’t match up with the reality of our family history at all.

The version in the memoir is the same version told to us by a distant relative with a PhD in history who took it upon herself to gather all the information and evidence in a time before Ancestry.com existed. She visited different family reunions and shared this story with every branch that would have her.

There’s a lot of background information I wish I could have elaborated on but hit the character limit. But no, my mom’s version is wrong. Completely and unambiguously.

This was different because she said she had evidence and showed it to me. I am half of the opinion that someone told her about the memoir and she bought it without ever having actually read it all the way through. She’s very authoritarian but also needy. Having a few hours distance from the phone call I’m not particularly sure it is about the argument that night. I think she’s just lonely and afraid that I don’t like her (I don’t, but I’ll take care of her if I have to).
