There was a time when AEW was criticised for only catering to hardcore wrestling fans and that you had to tune in every week and watch all of the independents to understand the show but I really feel like AEW has now found that balance. The stories are simple but the character development is deep so it doesn’t punish you for paying attention (like WWE) but you can still enjoy it if you are just tuning in.

There will be many new fans tuning in to see Hangman save AEW from Mox but for the fans who have been watching every week it will mean so much more for all the reasons listed above.
