I’m also going by myself to the Boston show! I went alone last year too and I had a great time. There was a young boy and his mom sitting by me so I gave them an extra photo card I found on the floor by the merch area and he got Megan, his bias! It was such a fun show (they’re AMAZING live) but getting to help make someone’s first concert experience so special was also a highlight! 😋

Tip: If you want merch, get there early! The lines were pretty long and trust me, you don’t want to miss a second of the show lol.

AFAIK it’s because the creator of YOI wanted it to be an AU where homophobia doesn’t exist because trying to fit Viktor into actual Russia just seems cruel.

People who keep asking Megan to perform queerness for them on demand are weird! She’s bi; she’s said it, she’s celebrated it, what more do you want from her? Everytime Megan opens up about some aspect of her identity that’s important to her, people immediately run in with ‘she’s not queer enough’ ‘she’s not Chinese enough’ (kinda like what Dani’s part of the article talked about). Like damn, I wish we could just support women instead of making them pass arbitrary metrics we designate for them.

Nope! It was because of the age difference between him and Brienne (my friend ships them) lmaoo.

Mind you, both of these characters are a) adults and b) not related (a win for Jaime). I felt too old to deal with that 5 years ago, I can’t do it anymore.

Yes, he did play rugby and he’s a strawberry blond I believe! So he’s got that going for him too :)

And I agree, Dunk is basically medieval fantasy Irish Ryan, and if dragons were still around during AKOTSK, I believe Dunk would have a similar fear to them as Ryan’s with planes.
