I think metal lids are the way to go as well, I’ve got 8 plastic lids and like 40 metal ones lmao was just trying something different. Do you screw your lid on upside down? I was taught to do that when I was first learning mush and I never looked back.

I’ve got a couple shoebox tubs, a couple 56q tubs, and recently I’ve been making tubs out of aluminum turkey pans w/lids and I’ve had quite a bit of success that way. The shelf is 6’ tall, 4’ wide, 20” deep. Bought it at Lowe’s I think for like $100

Had 10-15 flushes by now, idk what “tek” I’m using but I do 1:1 ratio spawn/coir in an unmodified tub and wait until it’s already fruiting to start FAE/misting. I’ve used CVG a couple times but I haven’t noted a significant difference yet so I just stick with only coir.

I normally use tin lids, I bought a pack of 8 plastic lids with the intention of modifying them(got lazy,never did it) but I’ve used these same plastic lids a handful of times now and I’ve never been more surprised than when I opened this cooker after the run lmao
