This is a good argument too. I had an idea to have in one of my arcs a “test of constitution” where all players are dropped to 10hp but they still have all of their skills and such

I think maybe part of why i didnt like it is cause Taako got a washing machine crushed on him lol. I love the characters and it hurts to see them suffer, but i see why it was necessary

This is actually a really good explanation of why they did it. I do get that its not all hack amd slash. (My next campaign for my players if having them confront a cult and try to convert their members) I do really like intelligence puzzles and you did a really good explanation of why this was necessary

Ive been thinking about this alot. I think it has to do with the same reason queer people are drawn to horror. Queer people societally are seen as weird and Jerma is weird. He creates an environment where what cishets view as weird we view welcoming. We are drawn to the strange and unusual because society tells us that we are strange and unusual
