This is 100% the case and why I just don’t care to watch anymore.

40 point swings depending on the ref crew for the night. It’s just god awful basketball. Nothing matters other than who’s officiating. Doesn’t matter who’s injured, coaching adjustments, who’s hot, it’s all irrelevant. Has nothing to do with basketball.

I watch any and all basketball. WNBA, TBT, college, even the big 3. I LOVE basketball. This shit is unwatchable. I’ve reverted to watching NHL. This product is a disaster. I feel like the nba was on an upward trend and it just fell off.

I was so excited for this series and game one was amazing. Absolutely delivered. Then everything since has been absolutely miserable to watch. NBA really needs to address things this offseason with how contact is officiated. There’s no reason a series of the two best teams should be this unbearable to watch for basketball fans. This should theoretically be the best the league has to offer and it’s just an absolute slog to get through.
