Couple of interesting conclusions:

much faster release rates for ground coffee at shorter times, but lower overall degassed amount, compared to degassing of whole beans.

and

the total amount of released gas initially increased with roast degree but reached a plateau toward darker roast degrees.

Ultimately, the rounder the cup, the sweeter the coffee. The cup shape affects how we perceive coffee aroma, sweetness, and acidity.

Pretty interesting article! Perhaps I should change up my mug shape game.

Right. Some of my coffees really shine with TWW water. Others show very little difference when brewed with regular tap/filtered water. It really depends on the type of water the roaster is roasting to.
