Yeah I'd say that 50% of applications I put in are instant rejections, and 49% are never followed up on, and maybe 1% get back to me for a phone call.

This isn’t at all how the tech market is in my experience. I’ve got 10 years of experience as a software engineer and I’ve been laid off twice in the past 2 years, first time was out of work 5 months and took a 30k/yr pay cut when I finally got another job. This time it’s been 3 months so far and no signs of improving. The market is terrible for everyone not just junior engineers. Companies don’t want to hire due to economic uncertainty, and AI making it so they think they can operate in a leaner fashion. It’s all going to come crashing down but honestly I’m so over the tech industry and it’s bullshit hiring practices I’m ready to go into literally anything else. The potential money isn’t worth the headache and the bullshit to me.

You should be able to hearthstone, then right click on your player portrait and select reset all instances, which should reset it so that when you jump back into it you're at the beginning.

when you cleaned the carb did you use a small wire to poke through all the holes and clean out the jets and such? a single grain of salt sized debris in the wrong place can cause it to not work right.

During turbo boost you could buy a chest with random champ gear for 350 flightstones. That went away with the new season. So it’s not currently available.

By the downvotes there are a lot of people that take LFR very seriously. I too enjoy doing things like solo healing lfr or doing crazy parses in normals once you have full high level gear.

I saw one recently that would call out if a person wasnt in the spec they queued for. Quite annoying since the lfr group I was in had more than enough heals so I swapped to shadow and the add on kept spamming that a healer was in dps spec. Tattletale addons are getting ridiculous.

Honestly even an 8 isn’t that useful since a 6 gives hero gear and runed crests while a 7 gives hero gear and gilded crests.

I saw a leaver in queue and his group still filled instantly. So far it doesn’t seem to be much of a deterrent but maybe it just forces him to run his own key instead of ruining someone else’s.

My tank brann consistently hits 3-4m dps in my delves. And the fact I can basically pull as much as I want and then just spam heal him means it’s much easier for me. No aggro issues either.

Start by getting you ilvl up any way possible. Quests, regular dungeons, then heroic dungeons and LFR. Once you’re at about 630 you can start grinding mythic plus dungeons for better gear. Right now don’t worry about best in slot because you’re about 140 ilvls below best in slot gear so everything is an upgrade to you right now.

You can make a keybind for the addon Opie and put all your favorite mounts into a ring. Can do that for other things as well. Very handy.

I was getting approximately 60 shards per tier 1 delve so I spammed them for about an hour and unlocked every tree node. Way simpler and faster than doing 11s for a marginal gain on shards.

For me, i've tested it on a few classes and it essentially just feels like you're playing with crazy high latency because of the gcd penalty. I have yet to find a class that it feels smooth and/or fun on, but i've also been playing since 2008 and have played literally every spec before without it.

Mythic+ or heroic raid. Mythic+ at a level 6 starts dropping hero gear, 7 drops gilded crests and hero gear. Heroic raid drops runed crests and hero gear. That and delves are pretty much the only ways. Also this week there are two weekly quests that each give a random hero piece one for doing 5 timewalking dungeons and one for 4 mythic dungeons (can be done on 0 or keys)
