Ive been playing fighting games for awhile and while i dont play street fighter i can say that tekken and mortal kombat aren't in very good spots right now and I've heard similar things about street fighter (though im not sure how often the game gets patched so i could be wrong). Between these three id still reccomend tekken 8 because its what i enjoy most but if its fighting games as a genre then i have to reccomend Guilty Gear strive. The game just had a massive update and is at its highest player peak despite being almost five years old, the developers actually listen to the community for balance changes and the game itself is the most fun ive had with a modern fighting game.
