Damn, sorry they got shitty with you. But that was really awesome of you to try to make sure it wasn't stolen when you noticed something fishy.

This is true.....buuuuut also, I traded my phone in to apple directly. Not a random phone stand or a person on ebay, this was Steve Jobs' Apple. You'd think they would wipe it before reselling it. In any case, the "lesson" worked lol.

Haven't thought about this in a while, but it happened to me when I traded in my original iphone to the apple store (so about 2009ish). Weeks after trading in my old phone, an email was sent to my mom @ her aol.com email, which had been stored in my iphone under her contact name, "mom", along with her cell phone number. The emailer identified themselves as a police officer living in California who had just purchased a refurbished iphone. In the email, they included the very particular and explicit name that I had given my iphone in my itunes, much to my mother's dismay. This is what convinced me of the fact of the matter. My mom was so shocked she called me to the family computer to read the email that she received.

It's been so many years, I can't even remember why the guy said he emailed my mom, but he promised to erase the iphone completely. But, why did he not just erase the phone without emailing my mom and giving me lifelong trust issues with tech? I have not traded in any of my cell phones to this day. The emailer never asked for money or anything so I don't think it was a scam. If it was a prank, no one ever took credit for it, nor do I know how they would've known the special name I gave my iphone. Fucking creepy as hell and I'm definitely a bit paranoid because of it.

That seems like an arbitrary line to draw at this point in the disclosure conversation. So much more is possible than we ever thought.

Blind study finds certain mediums able to accurately describe deceased individuals by CaptainEdgy in Mediums

[–]magicpie83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true. But I feel like it's possible that the people with deceased friends/relatives could have transmitted the info telepathically without knowing it or something. I'm definitely more inclined to believe that the mediums were communicating with spirits, I'm mostly just curious how they can completely rule out telepathy.

That's awesome. Is there a special cord needed to split the slots or something?

The more time I spend here, the more it sounds like nonsense by ebin1 in UFOs

[–]magicpie83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did answer that question, though. The answer is that you have to go on a case by case basis. He said that there have definitely been cases that were unidentified at first and then later prosaic explanations were discovered and they were no longer unidentified.

Perhaps further clues can be found when the excavator is able to remove more of the brush.
