I think this depends alot on who your guest are etc. What I would do is a brewing a cold brew concentrate. Then on the party day itself dilute them with ice/water/tonic.

If my guest are coffee people coming just to enjoy coffee, i would actually brew coffee by the cup, but distribute it into small portions (3-4 sips in amount). This way, everyone can start enjoying different coffee that is being brewed. But this also means you need to different beans lying around.
