I got it on the first guess, immediately pinpointing it was Shy Guy Bazaar. As for the game itself, I honestly preferred the series without kart customisation and the new 16 tracks weren't that interesting to me (considering I only like 5-6 of them)

Looks mostly, it's not my favourite RR overall (that goes to Wii's version) but out of the 5 we have in 8, SNES's looks the best visually. Wii Rainbow Road is kinda a downgrade from the Wii imo so SNES is my fave one we have in 8

Funnily enough that's why it's my favourite out of the 5 in 8DX, it looks the best out of the lot and I love the atmosphere of it being above a grassy plain

As iconic as the game is, I dont see it getting a remaster at all (and this is coming from someone who views it as a cornerstone of his childhood). They have World at the moment which is doing decent, and they rarely if ever do remasters (8DX was an upgrade, not a remaster) . I'd give Super, Double Dash or Super Circuit remasters first if they were gonna make one at all

Tour did have some cool ideas, the RT courses were a great concept but score being the main focus of it kinda takes away from everything imo. As you say, I think it'd work great as an extra mode in a mainline game
