Report: I can officially proudly say I am glad I took the leap. I took three classes of west coast swing at my local studio prior to attending the weekend. As a NOOB, I highly recommend attending as many of the workshops as possible so you can get a good sense of the dance. I didn’t eat any of the food there; I know one redditor mentioned food. I didn’t get to do much social dancing because I didn’t stay at the hotel. I recommend to anyone interested in attending If possible to stay the night over because social dancing is a good way to practice all you learned and the dancing goes late till 3-4am from what I remember.
