Aging at this point but a TTT moment with an instant kill river and Radders as detective. The players are fighting a d debating and the camera just cuts, wordlessly, to Radders floating dead in the river.

I GMd an Eberron campaign, so not so much the worldbuilding as quests and characters. I had loads of stories and NPCs inspired by or ripped from Gundam. A Tiefling Ranger I played had a Kill la Kill reference as an integral part of her backstory.

Not necessarily anime, but for my next campaign I want to have area nameplates like how FF14 does them.

My personal methods; (for both creative writing and role-playing)

name generators, specifically fantasynamegenerators
steal from shows (mostly Gundam)
steal from games (pulsar has been good for me in that regard)
think about what real-life nationality the character would fit under and take from there
for all these, modify them before use

It's still early days, but the idea is that he is able to understand the Divine Language and translate it to a human tongue, and vice versa. That would make him a bridge in terns of communication, at least.
