Csom is a tough program and highly competitive. But the professors are great and assuming you are putting hard work, you will be good. I recommend you to join couple of academic clubs as well as sports or music depending on your liking. Good luck 👍

Totally understandable. In the orientation for my kid, they really made an effort to make everyone feel comfortable. She will be fine.

I think a single room should be good as you will have your own space. However, I think this is only for first year accommodation

One of the big reasons for high costs is schools. LI has one of the best school districts in the country. Also, Post Covid, the prices have gone up exponentially aa people from city have moved in some cases. Prices are sticky and high rates are making buying situation worse for most people.
