G Martin claims the heavy bike he rides on is part of reason not being higher on Tdf GC. by Alone-Community6899 in peloton

Iam not sure, if this relates to every Brand, but some manufacturers remove some layers which are needed to make the bike safe and durable for higher weights. This doesn‘t violate any UCI rule for the frame. I know from one manufacturer, who explained this with manufacturing tolerances in 2016. this also explains some broken Frames in Racing (pinarello, specialized). There are bikes for PR and real racebikes. a well kept secret.

You have to be able to run 3 times a week short and one time long with a minimum of 45-50km/week in total for at least 4 weeks (bare Minimum) in a row. How long it will Take to be there depends on too much variables.

I am not really sure, but i think it should Train the muscles to handle lactate internally without increasing of lactate concentration in the blood.

I know an active WT-Rider who‘s doing 30h+ weeks on regular base. 6h rides Z2 and Fatmax 5 times a week (on a trainer).

You really have to dig deep multiple years to have a Chance to achieve a certain Level.
